FIA Honored at Pramukh Swami Maharaj Centenary Celebrations in India

The Federation of Indian Associations’ President Kenny Desai attended the Pramukh Swami Maharaj Centenary Celebrations on January 7 in Ahmedabad. ‘Beyond Boundaries: BAPS North America Day’ was recognized on that day. Mahant Swami Maharaj, dignitaries from all over the world, and Pramukh Swami Maharaj’s motivation for individual spirituality, Hindu mandirs, humanitarian work and interfaith cooperation in North America were celebrated throughout the occasion.

Mahant Swami Maharaj, Pujya Ishwarcharan Swami Maharaj, and Vivekchand Swami Maharaj blessed FIA President Kenny Desai for his work in the USA’s healthcare, real estate, venture capital and financial services. The FIA has gown the Indian diaspora through nurturing, promoting and protecting Indian culture and values.

Addressing the assembly Kenny Desai said, “Pramukh Swami Maharaj led many to path of spirituality and motivation through temples. His simplicity and magnificence have inspired many and his work helped preserve our culture. He was forever the driving force for BAPS, who spread the message of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam (the world is one family).”

“I feel as though I have taken my parents on a pilgrimage by attending the Pramukh Swami Maharaj Centenary Celebrations. I acknowledge Pramukh Swami Maharaj’s presence amongst us and express gratitude to all the volunteers and staff members, who have put in countless hours to make this event a success”, he further added.
