President of FIA, Dr. Avinash Gupta, MD FACC, recently attended a farewell reception in honor of His Excellency Taranjit Singh Sandhu, the Ambassador of the Republic of India to the United States of America. The reception was held to bid farewell to the ambassador upon completion of his tenure.
At the event, Dr. Gupta, on behalf of the Chairman, the Board of Trustees, and the Executive Committee of FIA, presented the ambassador with a plaque, recognizing his exceptional diplomatic efforts in strengthening India-USA relations and providing unwavering support to the Indian diaspora.
In addition to attending the reception, Dr. Gupta also had the opportunity to meet with US Senators Joe Manchin of West Virginia and Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota at the Embassy. The meeting provided a platform for discussions on crucial issues related to the Indian community living in the United States.
