Federation of Indian Associations – New England had organized a “meet & greet” reception with the newly elected US Congressman of Indian origin, Shri Thanedar, on Saturday, December 17, 2022.
FIA – NE President Abhishek Singh welcomed the US Congressman Thanedar, Deputy Consul General of India in NYC, Dr. Varun Jeph, and members of the Indian-American community in New England to the virtual reception. India’s DCG in NYC, Dr. Varun Jeph congratulated Congressman Thanedar for being the fifth Indian-American in the US House of Representatives and wished him the best for his tenure as US Congressman and bigger opportunities in the future.
Congressman Thanedar spoke with the community members and briefly narrated his life’s story and his plans for the future. Several members of the Indian- American community in New England also spoke to congratulate Congressman Thanedar and wishing him all the best for his current and future plans.
