Newark, NJ— On Sunday, July 9th, 2023, Global humanitarian and spiritual leader Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, founder of the Art of Living Foundation (AOLF), brought the “Sixth Sense” public event to the prestigious New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC). More than 2000+ people attended the event. Attendees learned and experienced how to connect with their inner and outer world beyond the senses. “We get so caught up in our five senses, that we forget about the Sixth Sense which is the mother of all senses,” said Gurudev. By participating, attendees learned how to connect with the Sixth Sense— and gain greater clarity, awareness, peace, and more. The event kicked off with enthralling music and a peek into the upcoming Olympic-scale World Culture Festival 2023, followed by a beautiful, guided meditation and a profound talk by Gurudev. Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, renowned for his profound teachings and immense contributions to humanity, seized the stage with grace and wisdom. Through his enlightening discourse and immersive meditation session, he skillfully led the audience on a transformative journey towards mental well-being and inner peace. As part of his multi-city tour across the United States, Gurudev emphasized the significance of mental health awareness and its role in creating violence-free societies. The networking the event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of more than 150 nonprofit organizations and community groups.
